An all-volunteer 501 C3 nonprofit organization, directed by a 5-8 member board, committed to funding projects that benefit children and youth in the New Hampshire Seacoast Region. The board meets regularly and reviews application for a “diverse group of programs and projects to be funded as a collective annual contribution to the community.” Grants are awarded annually following the Striped Bass Tournament.

Board members are responsible to carry out the mission and oversee the fundraising event.

Sponsorships

All sponsorships, grants and money raised during the Striped Bass Tournament are paid to Little Harbor Charitable Foundation and become the source for grant making each year.

Recipients

Must be a 501 C3 organization, with an annual operating budget sufficient to carry out the objectives of the application. Recipients submitting an application for a program must demonstrate that the program directly benefits children and youth in the New Hampshire Seacoast Region.  Recipients must provide a written report upon completion of the program describing the “difference” the program made in the lives of the children it served.

Audits

The recipients must be willing to work with members of our Board through-out the year as we monitor the project. Board members audit how many is being used to meet the intended objective.
